SOG Seal Pup Elite does not feel heavy when your leg, something that can be difficult, Gerber LMF II would be the legacy. However, SOG Seal Pup Elite is not as versatile as the Gerber LMF II in the field is very good, lighting fast weapon, and it is certainly the way it handles that can be thrown. This knife can be with or without the gear that will not be an option to buy the GerberLMF II
Basically this is what you want in a survival knife. If I have a knife, he would take with me in a survival situation, the Gerber LMF II would be. But if I take two, SOG Seal Pup Elite would together be taken as a weapon.
